I completed the parts of the piece that had no color yet. I still need to work on the reflection of the plate in the glass.

This is the piece that I have been working on in pastels. I really enjoy working with them because of the layering of colors and values which creates texture. Plus, it is messy and in my opinion the best art materials are messy. I think when going back into the piece the plate needs more of a contrast in value to create shape.
